  • can i use meguiars pads with Makita BO5021 ?

    hi

If the diameter of the backing plate is not
bigger than 125 mm. you can use the Meg's
pads perfectly, they have velcro at the back
and you can put it onto your
backing plate just like that, you can use the
W9006 for applying your #80, and you can
use the same type ( new clean one ) for your
    Nxt Tech Wax also
    I just love detailing

Most of these sanders like the one in your picture don't have the power to do what you want. They operate in the same manner as the G100/PC, but they just don't have the power to move the foam pad under pressure to remove small particles of paint which is how you remove defects.
