  • How to get out all of the spiderwebs??

First let me say that I attended one of the detailing classes in Maryland in May and it was excellent. This past weekend I finally got to work on my 99 corvette. My main problem was spiderwebs, but they didn't seem to be too bad. I clayed the car first and then used the dual action polisher with #83 on speed setting 5. I can still see some spiderwebs. I thought that I was applying enough pressure on the pad. Was the amount of pressure the problem or do i have to use a somewhat more abrasive product? What product would you recommend?
    Thanks

How long did you work the product in, on each area.

      A couple tips:

      Work in small sections 2'x3'
#83 Needs to break down (Work the product in a 2x3 area for approx 2-3 minutes)
Clean your pad with a terry towel often

One of the biggest problems I see, is most people don't work #83 in long enough and let then diminishing abbrassives indo there job.
Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..
