I ordered a PC 7424 from Detailcity and was wanting to make sure everything I got was the right stuff. It says it comes with a backing plate and a foam polishing pad, so I didnt get any more of those. I did get 1 finishing pad to use with wax. I would of gotten more pads, but its all about the money. Ill use the polishing pad with the cleaners and polishes and the finish pad on waxes. If I order pads from Megs, must I get a new backing plate or do they work together?

I just noticed it doesnt come with a polishing pad. That ***** bad. If the megs pads do work with that backing plate then Ill order a polishing pad from megs, if not then Ill have to make another order. Wasting money on shipping and handling. Idk why I thought it came with one?

I just ordered the pads so I hope they work with the backplate from detailcity.com. I had someone on autopia.com tell me they would, so ill hunt them down if it doesnt.

Just to point out, you should only use one pad with each product. So you would want 1 pad with #80, 1 with #83, one for #21, etc. Whatever products you purchased.

You might be able to get away with #80 and #83 on the same pad, but I wouldnt make any garauntees.

I ordered the pack of 3 from megs. Hopefully they will work? It comes with 2 polish and 1 finish. I think Thatll do it since I already have one finish pad. Thanks Murr!!
