    Hello Guys!

    Thanks a million!

autodetailingsolutions (ADS) has a great price, and they have packages where they put products together with the PC. i got the #4 package from ADS and was very happy. overall i saved over one hundred dollars.

        Jorge,

I personally went with the Porter-Cable 7424. I understand that the only differnce between it and the G100 is that there is no lifetime warrenty on the 7424. However, you can get it from Coastal Tool for $119 compare with the G100 for $149 from Auto Detailing Solutions.

I bought mine straight from Porter-Cable, the manufacturer of the G-100. I believe they call it the 7424. You can put your name on a list for a refurbished one for about $118.00 or buy a new one for $128.00. That's what I did; I bought a new one because I couldn't wait for them to refurbish one when one came in. Keep in mind they only offer a one year warranty unlike Megs- a lifetime warranty. You have to weigh it out. If I were a professional detailer and used the polisher every day it would be worth getting one with a lifetime warranty. But since I'm not, the one year was good enough for me and I saved a few bucks. Keep in mind, Megs comes with some accessories that you would have to buy separetly if you bought the polisher from Porter-Cable. I bought the remainder of what I needed (Velcro backing plate, polishing, buffing pads, etc.) from Auto Detailing Supplies, Arizona. They have good pricing on all the Megs products.

When you factor in the pad, backing plate, and lifetime warranty... the G100 from ADS is well worth the $. Plus if you buy a few more products along with the G100 kit you get a Meguiars duffel bag too!

Its a small duffel bag but perfect size for the G100, accessories, and a few products.

Keep in mind the Meguiar's G100 is backed by Meguiar's lifetime warranty (yes I know you mentioned it) and to get to my point, they're wayyyy too generous. If you buy the Meguiar's G100, they'll make sure you won't have any problems with it.
And I second what 35th Anniversary SS said. I also bought my G100 from ADS with a package. And while you're at it....you should buy Mike and Richard's How To Use the PC DVD.

The 7424 that I got from Coastal is NEW for $118. Sounds like a better deal that going to Porter-Cable direct.

                      Thanks guys!

Ordered the unit from ADS. PR is in their drop-down menus all the time as part of United States, so I'm guessing that all is OK, unles I get an email later today.

Thanks a million to all that answered!
