  • First use with PC

Got my PC and polishes the other day and got to play on my hood on my old 92 tbird. I've taken pretty good care of it but since I've started detailing others cars, mine get put on the back burner. I washed it with NXT, dried and taped half the hood off. On half of it, I clayed, then used the PC and #83, then PC and #80, then PC and NXT liquid wax. The difference is AWESOME!! The pic doesn't do it justice but it's the best I could do with my 2 megapixel cam phone. You can see how the left side is still hazy and has some swirl marks and how much better the right side looks. The paint hasn't been that smooth, slick and glossy in a LONG time! Now I have to do the entire car. Man does it look good! Only thing is, the PC didn't get the hail damage out.

Nice job , but is that hail damage( the white chips)? Looks more like rock chips since most of them are toward the front of the hood. Looks like mine, i hate rock chips

Thank heavens we don't get hail stones that big in Scotland!!!

Excellent work, the G100 is an awsome tool. Great stuff.

Yeah, it has a lot of rock chips right on the nose, I hate that! The hail damage is towards the top of the pic. Both my cars got hammered by golf ball sized hail back in March during a tornado.

Yes the PC is great!! Can't wait to do the whole car now! Will really make the hail damage stand out.
