  • Broke the ice and a few questions

Got the PC running today for the first time. WOW..Seems to be working great. I do have some scratches that aint gonna come out with 80 or 83 Anywho

Things I noticed. After using the 80 and checkin in the sun. The color looked a bit duller than the rest of the paint. I did a small area. What I concluded was I just took off all the darn wax. So I applied a bit of NXT and it popped once again. Is this correct that the paint is stripped off when using the 80 or 83?

Can I use the W-9006 to apply the NXT? I tried it and only went back and forth a few times because it did not seem to strech out as much as the 80 or 83. Then buffed with MF and looked good. Seems tough cleaning NXT out of the pad.

I saw someplace here that some folks are using #7 before the NXT and after the 80 or 83? What does that do for me?

I wish I could find something that shows arm speed...I have Mikes vid on the way but I'm impatient

Also..Was not sure how long to run the #80 or 83 I took a few minutes and seemed like I could go more. Never really dried..was a breeze to take off witht he MF

Think thats it for now! Hit up the Black Truck tomorrow

yes the wax will strip off when using 80 or 83

you can apply NXT by PC on the W9006 pad. Yes NXT is a PITA to clean out of pads as it is resistant to detergents and soaps.

using #7 will give your paint more depth. I recommend doing a test spot before doing the whole car. By PC try #3, I like it more than #7 on the PC
