    Just starting to use a G-100 to detail my car and wife's silver 2001 Volvo S60. I had two goals; first to learn how to effectively use the G-100 and second to remove (or minimize) an 8-inch scratch on the passenger door. Used 8006 pad and speed glaze with G-100 set at #5. Scratch was greatly reduced, but still see cobwebs on paint. I focused on the trunk lid first. I only applied it to a small area and moved the G-100 slowly. I stopped once it seemed the speed glaze was almost dry. Still some cob webs, but much improved. Here is a picture (sorry, doesn't show cob webs very well):

    sometimes you need to make several passes with #80 to lose the spiderwebs

    or if your paint is hard you may need #83 then #80

      It's tough to tell the condition of the paint from that one pic. If you are working in #80 with a decent push on the PC, then I would suggest bumping up to #83 and see if that takes out the webbing as the previous posted suggested. If you think the cobwebbing is being caused by your technique, you could drop down to #82 to see if something less abrasive gets rid of them if the paint is too soft.

        Thanks for the suggestions. I think my technique was lacking. I need to slow down my arm movement across the paint and apply more pressure.

          They key I just discovered from my latest trials with #83 and #80 was that I wasn't using hardly any pressure and generally speaking, moving my arm way too fast. You'd be surprised at what you can accomplish with a little more pressure and really working the product into the paint.
