  • W8006 and Removing Wax.

This past weekend I did a nice detail on my jeep and decided to change it up a bit, I used #7 then some liquid NXT over top. Now I've read that if you want *some* cleaning power with NXT use a 8006 pad rather than a 9006. Personally, I like the feel of an 8006 opposed to the 9006 as its too mushy for me.

My question is, am I removing the layer of #7 I laid down by applying NXT with the 8006 pad? I think this was discussed before but I cannot find the thread.

    Thanks guys.

As I recall you could use eighter pad to put it down as your only using the weight of the machine and roughly 3 passes to make it a nice even layer of wax.

As your only laying a layer of wax, your not working it other than to make sure your leaving a thin even layer, the 9006 pad shouldn't be an issue.

Good luck, I am sure Mike will Chime in soon on this
