  • which machine

hi. i have been cleaning, polishing and waxing/buffing my car by hand all this time. now i have a new honda city which is preety large and i wish to start using a machine for the above tasks.

since there are so many types like dual action, rotary, orbital etc,
can someone list the special features of each and highlight which machine is best for cleaning/polishing/waxing/buffing respectively ?

Also, if i have to use one machine for all the above tasks, which would be the most simple to use without causing any damage to the paint ? what i mean is that initially, even if i did not use the machine properly, it should not cause any damage ?

    thanks a lot

I agree with sneek, the dual action polisher is a great tool that is very user friendly. I have even let my 7 year old daughter try my G100 out on my vehicles.

The rotary on the other hand has to have a learning curve to use it properly and it is best to get a junker or a scrap hood or trunk lid to practice on.
