has any one used the new Griot's DA Polisher as opposed to the G-100, is there any difference, how about the rest of their product line as well, just wondering?????????

I got to see the unit at a car dealer's open house (european and exotics). The Griot's people had representation there and were demonstrating the polisher.
It's actually "too smooth" which they equate with a quality tool. It won't be aggressive enough in a random orbit pattern to really work on anything but a finish which needs minimal preparation.
The polisher is made in China and appears to be a nicely built unit.
The Griot's line is pretty expensive and Meguiars has a far more extensive line of products which are "proven".
