  • PC/G100 possible damage

    g'day all,

is it possible to scratch your car using this polisher with the PROPER pads and polishing pads and buffing pads?

    thanks

If you dry buff by accident when you start out, you could leave a little micro-marring behind. However, this is easily removed once you get the hang of things.

    Just dont drop it.

Also, if you drop a pad or bonnet on the floor don't use it without washing it again. It will pick up small particles of dirt which will scratch the heck out of the paint.

so i can't scratch the car if wax is always being applied to the car or the bads right when polishing/waxing.

and the buffing pads won't scratch the car anyways right?

and then afterwards follow the buffing bad with a microfibre to just remove any left over residue?

        cheers

          You got it...

The dual action polisher will almost always product better results faster, and with far less energy and time required than the human hands. I have never met anyone who after purchasing a G100 dual action polisher later regretted it. In fact, just the opposite, I often times hear people say they wish they would have known about the dual action polisher years ago...

The dual action polisher is light weight and easy to control. Because the motor oscillates and rotates, it provides effective cleaning ability to remove defects out of paint. If you push down to hard on the unit the motor reacts by slowing down and even stopping both the rotating action and the oscillating action preventing you from swirling or burning through your car's finish.

Compared to working by hand... there really is no comparison... It's easy enough to use and master that anyone with a little practice can be producing professional results in not time...
