i was on show car garage and i notice scott wax and many other people dont use the handle with the PC

i find it easier to pick up product with the handle on but other than that it is useless to me

I leave the handle on and I use it most of the time... I wish there was a mount for the handle on the top of the polisher(similar to a 4 1/2" grinder).

I find I can control the polisher a little better, yes it might help in getting pressure to the pad. I struggle to use the polisher without the handle.

I prefer to use it without the handle.

I do tend to regret it at times when I lay it down and it tilts over and lands on the edge of a pad. I use to end of having to switch pads mid process due to getting some grit off of my driveway on a pad.

Now I just use one of those little plastic patio end tables and wipe the top down before starting.

I do need to figure out the thread size of the handle mount hole and put a bolt on there though. That plastic housing cover can make quite the useless racket without the handle in plcae sometimes.

We don't need no stinkin handles...

FWIW, Mike Phillips convinced me to try w/o the handle 3 years ago...

The handle sits in my bag in case I need to use it but since I've owned it, I've never used the handle...I find it easier to manuever the PC as if it was an extension of my hand without the handle...
