  • G-100(A) at 220/240 Volts?

Even if it feels a bit expensive right now, after having started using the products I might feel more inclined to front the cash, so I can start asking right now.

As I can't see that Meguiar's in Sweden is carrying the G-100(A), I'm suspecting that perhaps there isn't a 220/240Volts version of it? Is that the case, or does some other European country sell such a version?
Do, or do not - there is no try.

Porter Cable only makes it in 110 volts.

Drat. That's a bit too much amps for a converter.

Ok, thanks. Bit of a bummer, though.

I don't understand why they don't make a 220v version of it? It's not very hard.
But I use a Cyclo myself and many are much happier with that, becouse they say it's more effective and vibrates less. And there are two 220v versions of it 5C, 5CE.

            just to let you know

The G100 uses 3.7 amps of power at 110V

            thats 407 Watts

you can purchase a 500 Watt power inverter and run it off your cars battery, just make sure it has a 110 outlet in it.

or I found a bunch of transformers at

            dcacpowerinverters.com

Scottwax only uses a pc. he does not use a rotary.
Look at his gallery and you'll see what is accomplished and how fantastic the results can truly be.

I didn't mean it doesn't work. I just think it's too much trouble if you don't live in a country with 110V. There are other tools that you can use and you get a warranty, spear parts and so on. Many on Autopia are much happier with the Cyclo than with the PC, thats why I bougt one. But this is just IMHO

The 220/240V version of the PC is the Flex X1107VE. Just FYI.
