G100 polisher questions (newbie)

I just purchased a new car (black finish) and I really want to avoid getting swirl marks. I am leaning toward purchasing the G100.
I was hoping someone here could recommend what other products I should get for the polisher. Keep in mind that this is a new car, so I don't need anything really aggressive.
Whay bonnets and wax/polish should I get with the G100?

So, am I correct in assuming that with a new paint finish I can initially stick with the Deep Crystal Polish and maybe NXT.

It's just that Meguiar's has so many paint care products, it's difficult to understand the differences.

You should checkout the meguiars rx plus. They recommend the products you should use on your car. anwser a few questions on it and that's it.

If you get the G-100, and with a new car already in good shape, you can always stick with milder products like #80 or #82, both of which are mild cleaner/polishes.

#80 Speed Glaze



#82 Swirl Free Polish



If you want a pure polish, DC#2, or #7 will be good for you.

Deep Crystal Polish



M-07 Show Car Glaze




Nxt wax can be applied with the PC, but you may find you get better results with #21 working by machine.

#21 Synthetic Sealant



Dont forget to clay the car as well, to get off to a good start. Yo ucan use either the Meguiars Quick Clay or Smooth Surface Clay.

I bought a black Prius in April 2005 and attended a Meguiar's Saturday clinic in November. Purchased my G100 right after that. I figured with a new car it would be easier to maintain it's new look by doing things correctly from the start, rather than abusing it and then trying to restore it later.

Here's what I own and use:

W8006 Yellow soft buff foam polishing pad (3-5) - for A2116 Deep Crystal polish
W8006 Yellow soft buff foam polishing pad (3-5) - for NXT Tech Wax
W9006 Tan Softbuff finishing pad (2-4) -for Gold Class wax
W7006 Burgundy softbuff cutting pad with X4003 Gold Class Clear Coat Safe Microfiber bonnet (2) to remove wax.

Wash with NXT due to local hard water.

Clay the car using NXT detailer.

Use Scratch-X if needed. Clean with NXT detailer again.

Apply Deep Crystal Polish with W8006 Yellow soft buff foam polishing pad at speeds 3-5. Small sections.

Remove while still wet with microfiber towel. Small sections.

Do one of the following:

-Apply G-118 ColorX with either W-8006 or W-9006 at speeds 3-5

-Apply Gold Class wax with W9006 Tan softbuff finishing pad at speeds 2-4.

-Apply NXT tech Wax using either another W8006 or a W9006 Tan softbuff finishing pad at speeds 2-4. Try at 3 - 3.5. Do entire car and let dry.

Remove with W7006 cutting pad and microfiber bonnet at speeds 2.5.
