  • Gonna try out my new DA in the morning

Well I'm excited and nervous!! Gonna attack the hood. Photo in my gallery. Printed off the thread on using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Pro line.
Learned a lot. Gotta have patience. Already washed car and put in garage. Told wife hers is sitting out tonight! Will use Quik Clay before I begin. I'm gonna start with #80 and see what happens. Got a sample of #21, will apply by hand. Should I use High Tech foam or the Even Coat app? The car is black. Was not sure if the Even coat was too aggressive on black.

I prefer the High Tech Foam applicator for application of liquid wax by hand and the Even Coat for spray wax, just my preference. Just curious why are you choosing not to apply it with your PC?

Don't know really. I guess I'm still kinda clinging to my old ways. I just might try it. It's hard to break old habits. . How much of the 21 do I put on pad (9006) to do just the hood? Of course the temps are dropping and a chance of snow Sunday night!! What a weird winter.

To prime the pad I start with the traditional "X", applying a wax with a PC is so easy its hard to pass up. Once the pad is primed you just need a little bit of product to keep a nice thin coat going.

It may take a try or two to figure out how much product you need. When I first started with my PC I seemed to get a nice thick coat of any product I used, not fun, wish MOL was around then! Good luck and let us know how it works for you.
