  • MPPC by Cyclo!

Man, if you try this, make sure to wipe the product into the pad first. I guess because it's such a runny liquid, but I put the pads on the surface, flipped it on, and MPPC flew all over! Like half-way down the car!

After that I wiped it into the pad with my finger first, and no problems.

As an aside, I used an orange LC VC pad, and it noticeably scratched the finish. I then tossed on a green Cyclo pad and it worked like a charm. All I was trying to do was remove some shadowing/scratching from debadging my car.

The more I use other pads, the more I come to appreciate that the Cyclo-brand pads work nicely in spite of their el-cheapo feel. If only Meg's made some 4" pads...

if you had 4" pads wouldn't you need a diffrent counter weight and backing plate?

Sneek- heh heh, yeah, we're discussing the Cyclo polisher

And even by PC/G-100, the 6" counterweight works fine with 4" pads (I keep one set up for this size all the time) but yeah, you do need a small backing plate.

The combination of smaller backing plate and 4" pad (wet with product) doesn't weigh much, if any, less than a larger backing plate and a sheet of sandpaper. The combination of 6" weight and smaller plate/pad works great.
