  • DA + Pure Polish

How much pressure do i use when applying pure polish (ie deep crystal pure polish) with DA and 9006 finishing pad.
Do i apply like the wax just with the weight of the DA 5-7 lbs on speed setting 3.
    Does that sound about right.

I know that when applying #80 apply 15 lbs on speed setting 5 and work the polish and abrasive in to remove swirls.
    but what about pure polish?

    Thanks

    Yes. That's correct.

      Hey kenji815

Yes, as Mike has already said.

Just to add a bit more info for other members reading this thread, a pure polish like #3, #7, #81, DC2 etc do not contain any ingredients with the intended purpose of cleaning the paint. The key to applying them is to make sure you are applying a thin, and uniform coat. Once you go over an area applying it thoroughly, you do not need to continue to work it in. Instead, either move on to a new area and remove all of the residue at once. Or, after applying the pure polish to a panel, remove it immediately.
