What is the differences, other than the diameter, between the W6000 and W5500, and how do they compare to W8006/W9006 in aggressiveness level?

In what situation would one use W5500/W6000 pads instead of the W8006/W9006 pads?

Do both pads, W5500 and W6000, contain permanently attached adapter plates to mount to the G100?

    Thanks!

W8000/8006 are different than W9000/9006 in that they are more aggressive. The 9-series is for LSP application or pure polish application. The 8-series pads are a bit firmer, etc, for stronger polishing i.e. using M83 and M80.

There's a link about W1000 pads that taught me something. I'll find it and post the link in a second.

Here's the link that showed what Meguiar's experts say on the W1000 vs. W8000.

The W1000 and W5500 are the same foam, per Mike's response in the thread.

I can only guess on the W6000 because I don't have any of those around and don't know if they're what I'm thinking they are or not.
