  • Seat Belt Cleaning - Audi A6 - Vanilla Interior !

    Hi,

Being a resident in the United Kingdom i am at a disadvantage to you guys.... i understand that you have a product called C-28, which is a dedicated seat belt cleaner. We have no such product and i can not get it sent over by air due to it being caustic !!. Does anybody have an alternative i could try to clean my vanilla colour filthy seat belts ?? Thank you.

          Hey,

C-28 is actually a seatbelt cleaner made by Pro Wax. It works pretty well. But you can easily use Meguiar's Heavy Duty Carpet and Interior Cleaner which works very well on seat belts. Just apply thoroughly, work in with an old toothbrush and then wipe off with a clean towel.

I use Meuguiars All Purpose Cleaner diluted at 4:1 (or suds from a bucket) and a brush like the gold class interior brush. I like to work the foam in with the brush with my hand on the other side, then take a terry towel and rub birskly and firmly to transfer the stain. This works extremely well and makes seat belts look brand new.

Oh yeah, just wantd to add that the interior on my truck is tan. My buddy decide that he wasnt goign to wash his hands after grabbing something greasy (want to smack him) took stains right out. I use the APC as stated above in all my customers cars and it works great.

Thank you for all your help on this, i will pop out tomorrow and buy some of the carpet cleaner from my local shop. I have just ordered a bottle of 81, and will use it with my Blitz wax, with the seat belts cleaned i think the car will look 100%.
