  • What is the correct/safe way to clean microfiber cloths???

Does Meguiar's have a detailed way of washing/cleaning/caring for microfiber cloths?

Below is some points from what I understand about the care of microfibre cloths:
    -No bleach
    -No fabric softeners
    -No fabric gloss enhancers
-Not to use in boiling hot water
    -Not powdered laundry detergent
    -Wash separately from other fabrics
-Wash separately from other cloths that have different products/chemicals on them. As in, wash with like for like

What is a preferred Laundry wash that Meguiar's recommend?

We use a non fragranced "free & clear" type regular liquid laundry detergent, warm wash, cold rinse, extra rinse sometimes, and low heat in the dryer for not a long time, maybe 20 minutes max depending on size of the load. We do not mix microfiber with washing cotton, but we do wash microfiber with foam pads at times.

I use liquid detergent, extra water in wash, extra rinse. Hot wash, cold rinse. Air dry on clothes line (in garage) Put in dryer to fluff no heat. Wash with Micro cloths only. Works best for me

Thanks so much for the clear reply.
Would you use the same laundry liquid for a soak bucket when a cloth has been spent with product/chemical? In particular cloths used for buffing a coating?

Coatings are definitely trickier, as they can dry hard, and kind of ruin a towel.

But I'll tend to use a heavy dose of Dawn for the soaking bucket...
