Getting tyre marks out of leather seats

Hello guys, I got a question from a family member who recently got a second hand car (Volvo C70). The sale also included winter tires and at the dealership they put the tires on the white leather seats of the car (what where they thinking?.. ) to deliver them as there is not enough space in the trunk of the car. This has obviously left ugly marks on the seats. We could take the car back to the dealership and let them have it removed, but as a Meguiar's enthusiast , I wanted to have a go at it first and see if we can easily get this cleaned.
The cars I've had never had leather seats so I don't have any experience on this matter. I was thinking to use APC on the seats to clean the tire marks off and use some kind of leather conditioner afterwards, but I'm not sure if this is the best choice. I wouldn't want to make it worse by using the wrong product.
Any ideas what the best cleaning method would be here?

Yes apc may do it, if that doesnt work you may need a strong degreaser or interior stain remover, failing that you could try ultimate compound, very carefully to polish it off.

Always try least agressive and work from there.. the standard meguiars interior cleaner, then apc, then interior stain remover, then ultimate compound.

If the stain can't be removed, the leather can be re dyed, a wipe on dye kit.

Thanks for the replies. As a matter of fact, I haven't gotten around trying it yet. I will be going there in a week or two and I will give it a try with the advice you gave me. I didn't know you could use UC on leather, I will try with the least agressive product first though and work my way up when it doesn't do it. If I would have to use UC, should I do it by hand or will the DA work as well without damaging the leather?
I will come back to this thread as soon as it's done (hopefully with some good news )

Give APC or Gold Class Leather & Vinyl Cleaner with a brush or microfiber.

Well, I managed to try this last month (haven't been on the computer much since then) and unfortunately it didn't help. I tried with several products, but none of them seem to be able to get this kind of contamination out of the seats.
Products I tried (in order of using them):
- Meg's Carpet & Interior cleaner
- Meg's Gold class Leather cleaner
- Gliptone liquid leather cleaner (which is a product someone else advised me and is also pretty good according to him)
- APC (10:1 and 4:1)
- Someone I know also has a special vacuum cleaner which sprays product at the same time and this was pretty agressive (can't remember the name though, it was something German). This helped a tiny bit on some of the lighter spots, but still no spectacular results.
- UC

It looks like it's really the solvent/softener from the rubber of the tires which got soaked into the seats rather than just being dirty.
I think I pretty much tried it all, so my uncle is going to take it to someone who is specialised in car interiors and ask a price offer for redying the seats.
