  • A proper upholstery brush

I'm looking for an upholstery brush that isn't harsh on "smooth" cloth surfaces. I have a GTI where there are variations of smooth and rough cloth materials. I believe one of the bolters was chewed up slightly due to too rough of a brush. In my newer detailing days I used thins like OXYCLEAN UPholstery from Turtle wax, which does come with a brush (http://www.turtlewax.com/shop/produc...lstery-cleaner). However I think the Green area of the brush may be too stiff? Or it may be my use of another brush that was meant for carpet use. I have no idea. But one thing is for certain is, I'm looking for a brush that can withstand chemicals/heat (I use combination of steam cleaner/meguiars apc now) and won't harm delicate upholstery. I have both envystyle brushes which are too soft, as well as a carpet brush which may be too stiff.

You could try searching autogeek.net for a brush to suit your needs. I guess I don't have any specific recommendation though but I thought I'd put in my 2 pennies
