Little green clean machine

Has anyone tried the Meguires Heavy Duty Carpet & Interior Cleaner in conjuction with the a Bissel little green clean machine?

My interior carpets are filthy and in some places brown from a new construstion neigborhood and a Chicago winter. I am thinking of adding some of the Heavy Duty Carpet & Interior Cleaner into the solution in the machine.

Any one have any ideas on how to scrub the carpets? I really don't want to do theme by hand I could be there all day.

You could pretreat the area with the carpet and interior cleaner and work it with a terry towel or soft brush, then use your LGCM filled with hot water to extract the dirt and chemical. I do this process with my upright bissel and Meg's APC, it works great.

Thanks for the info. Is there any differnce between any household carpet cleaning products like Resolve and the carpet cleaner from Megs

If you have the money I strongly urge you to buy a steamer it is the best tool I have found for cleaning a car and it uses are unlimited. I use a $120 model by McCulloch and I can really clean carpets, leather and vinyl like brand new.

I also use the Heated LGCM after steam cleaning the carpets with APC and then I do the door panels with the steamer and a rag attachment. Although I started out with the LGCM I never got the results I wanted till I started using the steamer. I may upgrade to a more expensive model rather than an extractor.

I think I'm at the point where I need to buy some kind of interior steam cleaner to really get the carpets looking like new... but wasn't sure exactly what's available out there. I'm looking to start small, possibly the bissel little green but don't know much about it. Anybody know of going prices for it, is it heated, etc.??? Thanks.

non-heated version is about 60, the heated is about 100.

if you have a membership at costco, they have the heated for around $80 i believe the last time i was there.
