Never leave a can of Coke in the car on a hot California summer day!
Just bought this Civic recently and the person who owned it before me left a can of Coke in the car on a hot day. Once the Coke got hot enough it exploded all over the light colored, cloth material (feels a lot like flannel), headliner.
Additional information: The Coca-Cola stain has set into the headliner for about a year.
I have a small steamer and a rigid wet/dry vac (although I'm afraid the vac will detach the headliner cloth from the cardboard if I use it). I tried using APC+ and a damp terry towel but it only removed about 50% of the stain. Thank you for any help you can offer!
