Hello, I have yet more questions about detailing but this time it is about the inside!! I have a couple scuffs caused by back and forth transport for home improvement items like wood, machines, and stones. The scuffs are pretty deep and was wondering if there is anything I can do to minimize the raw and rugged appearence that my SUV has acquired? Is there any type of product of remedy used for fixing these whoes in a vehicle or do they just get replaced? I could imagine this being quite expensive!! Well here is what I have to deal with. If anyone has some advice it would greatly appreciated!!

Re: Scuff's on the interior trim of 2011 Yukon
These are basically like scuffs or scratches in the paint; in order to remove them you need to level a bit of the surrounding surface, which is easy enough to do with paint because paint is flat and smooth, while textured plastic is anything but. If you try to level this out, you'll remove the pebble grain texture from the plastic and make a big ol' shiny spot. Not a good option. Using steel wool will just create a large, flat scuffed looking area. Not a good option either. About the best you really can do here is a good, thorough cleaning and then an application of Ultimate Protectant. And the results may really surprise you. No, it won't be perfect, but it shouldn't stick out like a sore thumb anymore, either.Michael Stoops
