as the title states, im looking for tips from you guys on what you do when you encounter these carpets. ive been detailing for 2.5 years now, and these carpets take just as long as they did on day one. the toyota matrix, some corolla models, escape, nissan versa, they all have that strange pile carpet. things are terrible to vacuum out of them, and its nearly impossible to use an extractor on them because your solution just gets caught up in the wired like pile and doesnt want to **** up. any tips appreciated.

I use a brush to help agitate the carpet fibers in correlation with my shop vac. Seems to help out quite a bit. Also if you have a steamer sometimes it also helps to loosen up any embedded dirt before the final vacuum. -

If you get them wet (shampoo) then brush them with a stiffer bristle brush like a tire brush that helps. A brush attachment for a da polisher helps tooEven the best cars look like junk when they are not cleanComment
