  • Cleaning gauge clusters, radios, touch screens

Hey guys. Been having a problem with the guages, radios etc.
Im noticing some marring and Im using quick interior detailer and even tried plastic x. Both with microfibers. I'm thinking of switching to the LCD wipes you get for your tv possibly.

My mf are clean. I'm spraying all chemicals directly on rag outside of the vehicle doors.
    Thoughts?

Hmm, maybe post a few pictures if you are able? I don't see how you would marr plastic with a microfiber. Are you sure they weren't already marred, and now they are just clean so you can better see the defects?

I'm wondering if my dressing is floating around in there and causing it when I go to clean. I'm very careful to not get anything on the plastics.

These are delicate and relatively easily scratched surfaces. I tend to use my compressor and gently blow away the dust. The only time I touch these with anything is if they might have a fingerprint or smudge. In this case I use QID with a microfiber made for coated eyeglasses. Just a slight mist of QID on the mf and very gently wipe the plastic.
