  • Removing parts and pieces?

Just getting a feeler - it seems I'm a little anal when it comes to my interiors... I remove seats, trim panels, buttons, etc. to get into the deep hidden spots. Anybody else as... thorough?
Everyone is my teacher. Some I seek. Some I subconsciously attract. Often I learn simply by observing others. Some may be completely unaware that I'm learning from them, yet I bow deeply in gratitude.

No, I have a nice clean car but I never felt it necessary for me to take my seats out to accomplish this.
To each his own....but yes, I think you are a tad bit more than anal... like, 'major anal'.
    Whatever makes you happy....

I guess, more or less, it's correcting the previous owner's past neglect than anything. I like to get into it!!

Its not too anal at all as you need to remove a lot of stuff to do a proper job, especially on a trashed vehicle.

A lot of gunk gets built up in the seat racks on a 10yr old daily driver, and in order to properly clean it the seat needs to be removed.

Same goes for work trucks, you wouldnt believe the amount of dirt behind the door panels and under the dash.

when I first detailed my solara..i took out the seats because inbetween the center consle and seat was a lot of nasty food,dirt..and even gum..i dont need to now anymore. id say if its not that.dirty to wear a vaccum will do. then dont bother taking the seats out.
