  • Dirt inside speaker

On my passenger door panel where the speaker is their is dirt inside the holes. This drives me insane and I do not know how it got there. I'm not sure how to get into those tiny holes but any idea's on how i could get this clean.

Go the Gallery and upload it there.

Have you tried tooth picks or q-tips?

Grab a toothbrush and spray the bristles down with APC and then agitate then grille, then wipe it down with a towel and follow up with a paintbrush to clean out leftover solution.

Why? Believe me, you won't hurt a thing. Do what Nick recommended. If you have an air compressor, use that to blow any solution/dirt out of the holes. Been doing this for a long time and have never had a problem.

I believe the grill will come out from the outside. I'd personally look at going that route. Then you can clean it well without damaging the speaker or pushing all that crud inside.

doesn't look like the grill will come out. looks like it is molded to part of the door panel.. most new cars are like that these days... your speakers wont get damaged from small particles like that... try vacuuming it out... or take your door panel apart if it bugs you that much and you are worried about damaging your speakers, which you won't

Q-tips or a toothbrush since your grill will not pop out.

Wet/Dry vac with the brush attachment, spray the brush with APC. Scrub and **** at the same time.

Stupid sensor. Scrub and vacuum at the same time.
