White ressidue on Vinyl

I have a 69 Corvette. The top of the dash has some white residue on it, I have tried to clean it using M40 but it doesn't seem to have any effect. I do not think it is faded. I've been told that Armor All can leave a residue, could that be it? What can I use to clean it?

Try using some APC or APC + and agitate with a tooth brush , follow that with a dashboard protectant , you might have to hit it a couple of times with APC

I found Meguiars Detailer All Purpose Cleaner (APC) is that what folks are refering too? If so what is APC+? Is it a specific product?

Meguiars APC+ is just a less foaming version of APC as far as i know, I tryed APC in my cousins work truck and it cleaned the dash perfectly

Yes. Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner. Its not a product you can buy at the store though. You will most likely have to order it.

Sounds like your dash needs a thorough cleaning. Go with the APC @ a 10:1 dilution. You can adjust the dilution from there.
