  • Steam Cleaner

Hey everyone, I am looking at purchasing this product

Euro-Pro Operating SC630 Handheld Portable Steam Pocket Floor Care

I have heard steam cleaning works very well on interiors after a good vacuum, could you give some input on this?

    Thanks,
    Jake

    Re: Steam Cleaner

I have a steamer that is a bit larger than that, it is just big enough to have wheels on it. It is really good at occasional cleaning in the house, but it is a cheap model similar to that. I use it in my car and in my van, but I usually use it as another tool used with the cleaners I usually use anyway. I have found that the small cheap steamers do not have quite teh pressure and temperature to make it into a mean detailing machine. But, don't let that discourage you, when used with an good interior cleaning chemical, the steam does "force" a lot more stuff to the surface and leaves the fabric (and plastic) fresher. Just remember to vacuum again after steaming fabric and put down some protectant on plastics.
