I was out on a detail Saturday cleaning a Chevy HHR and have found their interior's to be nearly impossible to clean. Steam cleaning was leaving huge water stains, Folex was doing a little better, but the customer had a stain from an orange pop spill that I couldn't get to come out. Does anyone have any advice on cleaning these kind of cloth seats? It appears to be a problem in newer GM cars and I can't find a great solution.

Matter of fact, I have NEVER, EVER spilt anything in my HHR and it has stains that say otherwise. It is a VERY common problem that very few have figured out, sadly.

Re: Need help with Chevy HHR interior
I have not run across soda on a cloth seat yet but I have taken soda out of carpet. What I usually do in that case is ill boil some water and dilute it 2:1 with degreaser. Dont be shy with it and agitate it with a nylon brush. Beyond that, Im not too sure.ChrisThompsonsCustom@gmail.com

Re: Need help with Chevy HHR interior
My mom and sis both have hhr's. Sis has lite colored interior and a 7 year old son. Best thing I have found to clean those seats is woolite 8:1 and a lot of blotting to draw up the detergent and the stain. Hope that helps.Fergy-
You're only as good as your last detail
