  • Seat Stains,Sometimes you have to Get Tough

This was a chocolate drink that puddled underneath the cloth and saturated the padding. The best Fix was to Remove the seat,Remove the cover and toss it in the washer and than let air dry.

    After

This is a 11 year old car and this process brought back the color and softness. It just takes Patients and a little hand strength to muscle the covers on and off.

Some use Hog rings which require a special pair of pliers to replace.

      Thanks Nick
It can really make a difference to an Interior especially on a older car.

            Looks a lot better, Frank.

Did you use regular laundry Detergent or something a little stronger?

I treated the stained area with APC 10:1 + oz of liquid Tide, washed by itself with normal amount of liquid tide.

It came out so soft but I did not use any softener and just let air dry. I have done this to complete interiors of some used cars I bought in the past cause you never know what went on in the care before. kind of like taking your own pillow to a hotel. LOL

I really like the APC with it's optical brighteners and softeners I first tried to scrub out the stains and vac but the stain when wet just wanted to spread.
