  • Smell after Carpet Extraction

Ive noticed this with two of the last details ive done, after cleaning with APC+ then extracting with the LGM pro heat ive noticed a kind of musty smell lingering in the cabin, any ideas? What can I use to defeat the smell? Thanks

Did you saturate the carpet with water or cleaner?
Could be that the carpets have been cleaned in the past but were not dried properly so some of the bad smell lifted with your cleaning action and rubbing.

My process was (which was repeated oh 6 times or so due to filthy carpets):

      -Spray with APC+
      -Agitate with brush
      -Extract with LGM

I have noticed over time, bounty sheets under the seats help more than any spray, (one of the cars was my gfs)
