I normally use Zymol cleaner and Zymol conditioner for cleaning my leather seats. Anyone compare this to the Megs cleaner and Megs conditioner?

I've never met a Megs product I don't like, so just wandering how the 2 Megs products compared to Zymol.

I like the zymol since the cleaner is a spray and it seems to work pretty well.

    Thanks...

I like the Meguiars Rich Leather Spray Cleaner/Conditioner. It comes in a wipe form and cream form.

The two step system is good too.

    Just find something you like.

That's about the only motivation I need.

Time to order a bottle of the aloe cleaner and bottle of the aloe conditioner then. Might as well toss it in with the order for my nifty new G110.

I'm hardly an expert, but I've been doing the same routine since 2002, on 6 different vehicles and it hasn't failed me yet.

Every wash, clean with cleaner. Apply conditioner with a terry towel. Wait about 5 minutes and wipe down again. No problems yet.

I wear jeans primarily and my leather seats have always been light tan. I get a little blue from the jeans every now and again on the seats so I always felt the cleaning / conditioning was required. May be overkill, but it works for me.

What do you apply the cleaner with (Terry towel)?

                    Re: leather cleaner

Yes sir, terry towel. I always sprayed the zymol cleaner on the leather then a little on the towel. Doing it often makes me just have to wipe it down instead of scrub it hard.

Guess I'll have to get a new technique when I try the megs stuff. The aloe cleaner I'm planning on ordering doesn't appear to come in a spray bottle.

Not sure if it's a cream type or liquid? If it's liquid I could x-fer it to a spray bottle. If cream, I could just apply with a terry towel I suppose.

Meg's leather cleaner & conditioner are 2 great products !
Here's the result after cleaning and conditioning the leather seats in my Alfa Romeo 166.

                      UNTREATED AND DIRTY

                      TAPED OFF HALF THE SEAT

AFTER LEATHER CLEANER ( 1 application)

AFTER CONDITIONER (1 application, quite shiny but once the leather absorbs the conditioner the shine disappears )

EXTRA TIP : try to make sure the leather is warm before applying the conditioner, this helps the leather to absorbe the conditioner because then the pores off the hide are open !

                        It's a VERY thick cream.

TBH, I'm really torn about the product. It leaves the leather in one of my cars with an artificial-looking shine and greasy feeling, but works wonders in my other car when used with a brush for agitation/scrubbing. I hate the fact that I can't get the product to come out of the cap that is supplied - I always remove the cap and squeeze it out the open top...I would much prefer that the product was a little bit thinner so that I could just squeeze the bottle and go.
It smells nice and clean to me, though my fiancee says it smells like moldy bread.

How have you liked the Zymol leather products? I'm liking one of their waxes, so I may try the leather care line too...

How did you do the perforated leather?
I can't for the life of me keep the cream out of the perforations on my seat so I stopped cleaning that section, making it gross.

I use a soft brush to remove any product that gets stuck in the perforated section.
Just let it dry and then you can easily remove it that way !

How long do you let it dry? How long do you leave both products on?
