  • can ı use #m40 interior safely?

Hi guys I buy a new car, and I bought 200 cc #M40 vinly and rubber cleaner, but ıt smells terrible.
1-So can I use it in the torpedo panel safely, and exterior plastic part of the car? Smell of the product frightened me so ı have questions abaout it.
2-İs it giving a shiny and oily look or dull and fresh look?
Thank you for your interest, ı am look,ng for your replys.

Yes, it is safe. I think you might be the first to claim a bad smell, but it is all personal preference.

    1. Yes, it is safe to use on the plastic/rubber/vinyl. I would apply it with a cloth, let it sit for 5 minutes, then buff off excess with a clean cloth.

    2. It wont be shiny, but not dull. Should just be nice.

        You too!

I love the smell of it!

It's safe for exterior plastics, the shiny part is up to you. You can apply it and let it be for shiny or do a final wipe and leave it a more matte finish. I also use it on the rubber seals for the doors, keeps them very nice.

I thought it was for underarm use ??
All kidding aside , I use #40 on most plastic interior trim and like the way it makes the tires look also.

It is great to use on the interior plastic/rubber/vinyl.

I just purchased a gallon of M40 and like most Mirror Glaze-line supplies, it smells like a standard "unconsumerized" chemical too (as opposed to Detailer-Line supplies which usually smell like Grape, Citrus, Coconut etc), but I use it on the interior and exterior vinyl and rubber surfaces just fine, with no unpleasant smell after it dries .
I must stop drinking all the Grape-smelled supplies though...they smell and taste too good!

M40 does have a strong smell when you first start using it, but now, I find it to be the best new car smells you can find.

I still love the smell of gasoline... that must explain a lot.

But I think M40 makes your interior smell like new again!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.

Anyone want to explain to me what a "torpedo panel" is?

I hated the smell of M40 myself at first, now that I've used a bunch of times I have gotten used to it. People that ride in my car always tell me it still has that new car smell.
