What do you use for a carpet / fabric protectant? Is Scotchgard what everyone uses, or are there some good alternatives?

ScotchGuard worked great for me. If you have delicate fabric like wool, I would do some research before applying.

          Scotchgard rules!

Yep.Scotchgard here. But would love to try 303 fabric protectant.

If Megs had something similar (and readily available) to scotchgard, I buy it.

I tend to use threats of walking home, or some form of pain.

Are you usually successful with this approach?

Doesn't help when your working on customer cars.

I would like to know what everyone uses, or if Scotchguard is the best, so that this doesn't happen again...

Yep...it was pretty horrible, but I was able to get it all out. I don't know what it is about the cloth on these seats, but if you spill even bottled water on them it leaves a stain. Definitely not a family friendly car.

I had to handle a situation a few years back where a lady left a 12pk of Dr. Pepper in her car, in the Texas heat, and they exploded...
