It keeps coming back! (carpet staining)

2008 Hyundai Sonata SE w/ the light tan/gray interior.

In the driver footwell the mats were not the correct ones and barely covered the main areas of shoe-related dirt that would be tracked in.

I have used the APC+ in both 10:1 and 4:1 and the LGCM on it, and a megs interior brush.

While still damp it looks great, as it starts to dry the light to medium brownish dirt areas keep coming back. I've cleaned 3 times now and not sure how to try , as I feel I need something different. I've read here and other places about cleaning carpets and in the detail 'afters' I never see this kind of thing.

Any ideas would be great.

The Detailer Line foam carpet cleaner is supposed to be good... Thats about the only thing left to do, unless you try taking it to a professional interior/ carpet kind of place.

Yeah, The Detailer Line Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner or the consumer line "Quik Out" work great for this. The All Surface Interior Brush works well on carpets too.

Folex works great as well.

Or the LGM with Fluid or APC

Oh I forgot to mention I have tried Folex too. I've sprayed directly on the carpet fabric with both it and the APC+, worked in, wetted with the LGCM then extracted. Looks great until it dries.

they might know

I think I'll try come of that foam cleaner first that was mentioned, then I'll put down the proper floormats and be done.. It's just more trying my patience at this point.
