ok, so I cannot justify spending the money on a LGCM heated or not. I have been using my parents Bissel Pro heat for a couple of details. I am not very happy with the suction out of that machine, so I was wondering how to make it better. Some of you might have read that I got a new attachment for my Rigid Shop Vac, a detailers kit. Well within that kit is reducer for your standard 2.5" hose, to I guess 1.25-1.5. The little attachment that fits onto the Bissell Pro Heat, FITS ON THE END OF THAT PIECE FROM MY KIT!!!!! So now I have the suction power of a 6.5 hp Rigid Shop Vac sucking the water out of my floor. Obviously it doesn't have the ability to spray the water directly under the floor like the Bissell does (it sucked anyways), but a bottle of water in hand, and bam I have a sweet extractor, and my parents can have their carpet cleaner back, minus the little tool, LOL...

Re: had an epiphany
well its a temporary fix, I am keeping an eye on ebay and craigslist for extractors with good heat and vaccum.
Plus this has cut down on yet another item that I cannot fit into my garage right now, until a few items are removed.Fergy-
You're only as good as your last detail

Re: had an epiphany
Yeah that is one thing I dont like with the LGM is the suction! So I just make a point to follow up with my shopvac to get what the LGM left behind. If there was a way to rig the LGM to the shopvac so that you had the suction of the vac but everything else of the LGM that would be perfect! If only I had a grand for an extractor
Any donations?

Re: had an epiphany
Yeah, heavy duty extractor would be my ultimate wish, although I am making due with my shop vac, hot water, scrub brush and APC+. I just did wifey's car after a winter of snow, slush and salt, and I got pretty much everything looking new.----------------------------------
