What are you guys using as far as shop vacs? I have an old craftsman that seems to be loosing its edge and im looking for a nice replacement. Any suggestions as far as size and horsepower? Other brands? Thanks always appreciated!

Nice unit with limited dirt storage.
        Lots of suction.

Not a wet vac. For dry pick up only.
Mine is about 6 years old and is still going strong. My wife uses it around the house more than I do for vehicles.

I also have a Craftsman 5 HP, 12 gallon and a 5 HP, 4 gallon Ridgid Toolbox Vac.
Both work good and they are wet/dry vacs.

I went with the Rigid vac. Had it about a year and a half. No problems at all. Good units.

I use an Electrolux Marquis for dry pick up. Got to love the power (11 amp motor). I used it as a house vacuum 9 years ago and was told the motor was going and believed the salesman. I bought a new Electrolux, but the old I use for cars and STILL runs today!
