  • Carpet's

So today I worked on an Acura TL that had been neglected (a lot). The hardest part for me is always the carpets. I tried APC at10:1 and 4:1 without the success I was aiming for. So which Meg's product is best for carpet cleaning?

    APC
    APC+
D102 l Purpose Carpet Cleaner Aerosol
    Quik Out Carpet Cleaner Foam

I am also looking at the Spot Remover from Wolfgang

I like using Quik out or the Detailer Line Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner with a Meguiars All Surface Interior Brush. I have removed some pretty bad stains with the Quik out before.

I've been impressed with some of the stains I've seen Quik Out remove...

How does Quik Out compare to the Detailer Line product?

I'm not sure what, if any difference there is (aside from the scent for sure, and the foaming action appears to differ) but I have gotten out some seriously bad stains with ease with the Detailer line foam product. Grab a can and give it a shot.

It just lifts oil stains right out with a microfiber by hand for me.

Well I have Quick Out Carpet Cleaner and it works good.
On the trade show floor I use Folex and that stuff rocks!
Also use Bissel and Spot Shot works well.

Quick Out (w/Bissel inside) is good. I tried Bissel home carpet cleaner and doesn't seem as good. Folex is great! Especially for our red clay here.

I've tried Quik Out and it worked great!

Never tried the Detailer line though. I think I read it works great. I have a detail the next coupla days and there's a stain on the floor board that I bought Quik Out aerosol just in case my APC+ don't cut it.

The detailer line carpet cleaner is my go to. Just last night we removed some grease stins out of the carpet in the house by hand using it. Great stuff. I use it all the time.

                        Re: Carpet's

I wish I knew how to get these "pink" stains out of my carpeted floor mats. They are a muted pink stain. Nothing I try seems to work. I'll have to post a pic of it to show you all what it looks like.

In the past, my carpet cleaner of choice has been Carpet Science. It's not available in stores, and it's made by Johnson Diversy. Love this stuff, but when it comes to carpeted floor mat cleaning, I can *never* get them to look good.

There are some special red stain removers but I haven't tried any.
