Well, I haven't found its limits, yet.
Here is a vinyl (MB-Tex) seat bottom from an '81 Mercedes that I needed to clean up well enough to use until the perfect one comes along.

I ended up using a fresh medium bristle toothbrush to do this because my soft nailbrush seems to have vanished. Mopping up the gunk required no less than four 11X17 microfiber towels, but these results are from a single application of #39. There's still a little film left, but a follow up with #40 should take care of it.

For the record, I'm using all Meguiar's products on my Mercedes project, and while the filth in this car is of a level that I have never seen or dealt with before, Meguiar's products seem to be more than up to the challenge. There's only one thing so far that I'm not happy about... I can't get #39 by the gallon! I know that a lot of folks here simply would have pulled out the APC for this chore, but with the old stitching in these seats, I wanted to stay with the gentlest product possible.
