Will APC ruin tinted windows??

I'm cleaning the interior of Honda Odyssey which has very expensive tinting job on the windows. Well, I'm using APC 10:1 and I'm afraid if the windows get some mists while working. will this ruin the tint??

Why not spray the APC on an applicator first then you'll avoid the issue.

Thanks for replying. I'm using MF wash mitt and and still I might hit the window too. I want to make sure or I'll tape and cover the windows.

I've worked in my own car and clients cars using APC and never had a problem, sure my last step is to clean the windows to remove any mist of product that could land and sit

Ammonia is what is known for ruining windows. Anyone have the MSDS for APC?

I havent used Megs APC but have used other cleaners. the splatter from spraying has gotten on the tint film and ruined it. where ever the splatter landed were permanate spots on the tint film.
i woul just aviod it all together.

arent the windows on the van tinted glass from the factory? if i so no need to worry.

I forgot to follow up on this... So I did I long test by spraying little APC 4:1 onto my car sunroof which has the same type of tint.... and after more than a month (my car setting out side under heavy sun.. I wiped it and the surprise was that there were no spots at all.... I did test the same solution on bare glass and it did make spots which came out after using professional line glass cleaner...

the only spots were in the vinyl on the door that I don't know how to get them out

Really?? will it be that easy...

I read another threat about removing water spots from exterior trims/rubber with one of the marine product ( not sure the name) but it's not available in my country.

The vinyl panels on the inside? I don't think QID will be doing a whole lot of cleaning, as great of a product as it is.

i bet those spots can be clean out. respray the whole pannel EVENLY and scrub away, vacuum, and wipe dry. I would guess the spots are clean spots.

Thanks guys for your inputs. I just don't have the time working in my car but the whole situation will add some experience to me dealing with products. At least I now I know that I have plenty time to wipe clean when APC hits tinted windows (Esp. this expensive type of tints). Obviously I had no experience with any other types, so I need extreme caution as I read about APC ruined some type of tints.

One last thing, Plz excuse me for my poor language.
