I have a Gold Class Conditioner related question. Is it possible to over condition your leather? I just got an 05 Envoy and the leather is in decent shape but, it seems to have never been conditioned (leather on drivers seat is a little loose, worn out, creased and has kind of hard not soft feel). I have conditioned all the seats maybe 5 times in the last 2 months with a terry cloth. Should I hold back a little? How often should I make applications? Once a month? Twice a year? Thanks.

Re: Is it bad to use too much Gold Class Leather Conditioner?
Yeah, I figured it would give it the moisturizing it had been neglected of. I read some where that using too much can wear off some protective coating that is originally on the leather and can cause it to wear prematurely but, I'd imagine the Gold Class is replacing that protectant every time. I'm just gonna stick with the once a month application I was recommended. Thanks for the input.

Thanks.
Your skin emits sweat that contains acids, salts, oils, etc....
So clean these areas really good while treating your leather.

Thanks guys, maybe it's the summer heat because the seats seem a little dryer since I've been conditioning them. The bolster part of the seat has some crease marks, will these come out over time if I condition frequently? I heard somewhere that its best to apply the conditioner while the leather is warm because the pores of the leather open up and absorb the conditioner better. Don't know if there's any truth behind that or not.
