  • Carpet Cleaning?

Can someone explain the steps to clean the carpets??

I have a shop vac and brushes and need to know what cleaners to buy. Also, my carpets are in good shape just wanna bring them to that next step.

    thanks,
    Jon

I just purchased the heated little green machine. Works pretty good. Some stains just won't come clean. Its fairly quick and easy to use. I altered my process to clean carpets first to allow time to dry and prevent sending the vehicle home with a client with soaked carpets. Plus I want to make sure of no odor or mildew problems.

There was a post around here on using the shop vac as an extractor. I couldn't locate post. Sorry.

    Good luck.

Personally I do this with good results. First give the carpet a pre scrub to get it decently clean, then spray with a foam nozzel with all purpose cleaner lightly. Go over it with a nice carpet brush side to side, front and back then vaccum again. This will act for a nice shampoo plus the brushing action will get anything thats caught in the carpet up and out of it.
