  • Differences between #40 and Natural Shine

I am currently using natural shine and I like the low gloss and smell that it has, but #40 has me curious. I will say that my main reason for wanting to try it out is that many people on here have mentioned that is the closest thing to a new car smell. If the shine is not too extreme I will have to give it a try.

I use them both, 40 has a great smell to me and depending how much you apply, depends on the gloss. I spray mine on a MF applicator, spread product out and wipe with a clean MF towel. I use it on the rubber seals as well.

    Great stuff.

Re: Differences between #40 and Natural Shine

As Aaron said, #40 has a shine that differs by how much is applied. I apply it with a microfiber and it gives a natural, factory shine. My customers love it.

Natural Shine leaves a high gloss shine.

I apply it like it is mentioned above. Sometimes after applying I just leave it as is. I like the product alot.

I mainly use #40 because it comes in bulk sizes and I use it a lot, and because I control how I want the product to perform to satisfied customers

Natural Shine has a fresh smell that lasts for a while. The scent from #40 stays for a few hours.

I love #40, makes the interior look like new!
Some people like it shiny though, in that case I like to apply NXT interior or NS

I do not like it shiny, and I don't think that NS is very shiny...of course depending on how much you apply. Are the smells similar at all?

Natural Shine won't make a surface more shiny than it was when the component was made, thus the term/word "natural" in the name. Thus if the component was shiny to start with it will restore or maintain this level of shine. If the component was matte to start with it will restore or maintain this type of appearance.

Most dressing will restore a rich look to the surface they are applied to, this usually show up to your eyes as darkening the surface but remember creating a rich look is different then making a surface shiny.

Regardless of which dressing you use, if you want a more matte looking finish you can always wipe the surface down after a few minutes have passed, (since applying the dressing), using a clean, soft microfiber. This will act to remove any trace residues off the surface and tone down any shine.

Ive got both and both are excellant products. I feel like #40 could smell alot better but its my #1 interior product for now. Is easier for me to apply and it leaves a nice finish, matt finish.
