  • What applicator should I use to apply Leather Cleaner & Conditioner

I've got some Meg's Leather Cleaner & Leather Conditioner.

What should I use to apply them or what should the process be?

Is the cleaner really a product that must be "scrubbed" into the leather or does the cleaner do a good job itself?

    Thanks.

For the cleaner, I would use a leather brush and microfiber or cotton terry towel. For the conditioner, as strange as it may sound to some, I have yet to find a better method than applying with bare hands (or use latex gloves).

I do basically the same to clean and I use a Meguiar's foam applicator to apply the conditioner.

Do you have any pictures or detail of the "leather brush" ?

I would assume something that is not very aggressive or harsh.

An interior brush that you can find at Autozone works fine.

I'd probably try terry, not exactly knowing what a leather brush is either.

I have certainly seen "interior" brushes that are quite stiff.

I rub the cleaner on the leather with my hands and let it soak for a couple of minutes, then scrub them with Meguiar's Interior Brush. Wipe off with a terry towel. Spray with APC 10:1 and wipe with a towel to remove any left over cleaning gel. I apply the conditioner by hand, let it soak for about 5-10 minutes, wipe it down with a towel, then go over it again with a foam applicator pad.

I just did this to my seats last week. It turned every towel brown, even the one I wiped the conditioner with! The seats look sooooo much better though!

I use a cheapy white applicator that you can get at autozone. Normally mist it down with a little water before I put the cleaner on it.
If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.
