My fiancee is thinking of purchasing the new Triple White beetle w/ the white leather, but if people have greater difficulty maintaining tan leather, I can't even begin to imagine white!
I've been using Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Conditioner for years and they've been great on my black leather, but now I'm looking for some added durability.
Is there a 'sealant' for leather like there is for paint? I know leather has to breathe, but is there a product that can make leather more tolerant of stains / smudges? Otherwise that bright white will start to fade pretty fast.
Or am I stuck with a monthly wipe down w/ the leather conditioner? I used to condition my leather only once a year in comparison, which was good enough to preserve the look and suppleness. I enjoy exterior detailing more than interior, so the thought of conditioning leather 1/month is not too appealing to me. Thanks for your advice!
