Has anyone used Spartan Chemicals CX3 Bio-Assist in cleaning carpets and other interior fabrics?

I would be using it with a hot water extractor.

To tell you the truth, never heard of this brand before.

We have a carpet cleaning project coming up and were going to use the new Quik Out Aerosol.

Pictures to be posted when through. (Not doing it today but soon)

        Mike,

I've tried APC cut 4:1, and it didn't seem to do as well as I had hoped.

Do you know what the stain is? Or if it's organic or not? Is it a stain or a smell?

When I bought my Jeep it came with a nasty smell. I cleaned all the carpet with APC and APC+ and while the carpet appeared clean a smell would still come out on hot days. I went to a local janitor supply store and spoke with the owner, he recommended a cleaner much like the one you linked. I forget the brand but it had the same description about consuming bacteria and microorganisms. I followed his directions and the smell hasn't come back yet.

Its a stain, looks like ground in grease. Its between the seat track and the door frame and the area around the bottom of the seats.

APC 4:1 didn't seem to work.

Well I believe APC is an alkaline cleaner(high PH) which means it's best suited for organic grease, like food stains.

It has a degreaser in it which makes it suitable for use degreasing engines and such too.

As you can see i'm quite a Spatan Chemical user, I've used consume before, just not in the Xtraction formula. I do know anything Spartan makes is GOOD stuff...

I'm picking up a case of CX3 on Monday. The case is the smallest my distributor sells.

My distributor sells Spartan chemical and buckeye cleaning products.
Usually can get any product in quarts, gallons, 5 gallon pail etc...
Here's a few carpet cleaners I use frequently, you might want to give these a try sometime...

Look for these on Spartan site, I used every one profusely...the spotting solution has a great smell and removes just about anything...

I did look at those, but when they force me to buy cases as the smallest qty it adds up.

CX3 was recommended to me over the Xtraction II for the bacteria cleaning part. I will probably get the Spotting Solution down the road.

It was seeing your post someplace that I hunted down Spartan to start with.

CX3 seems good. What is it that you have come across, that would require Consume..additive ...?
Xtraction is probably the best all around pre -treater/extraction cleaner used to date...
Here's a pic of my arsenal of carpet cleaners need to place an order ran out of Xtraction and Contempo spotter... The green bottle is Industrial carpet degreaser strong stuff...
