Hey All,
Haven't detailed in about a year because I've been at school, but now I have an apartment and want to get started to get my new '04 GTO so that it's absolutley perfect.
Here's the problem with the interior, the seats are awesome with black leather, but it is perforated (has billions of tiny holes) so that the seat breathes while you sit. I have used Meg's gold class leather cleaner/conditioner in the past and loved it, so I picked up a bottle, not realizing that it was cream-based. Now I have dried white spots of leather conditioner in all of the little holes in my seats.
i have started the painstaking task of taking a pin and pushing it in and out of EACH HOLE to get the conditioner out, and it looks great. The problem is that all four seats won't be done untill next year if I keep using this method.
My question is if there is something that will maybe dissolve this excess conditioner (interior detailer, warm water, some other kind of conditioner, an interior bush???) I own some interior detailer, but none of the brushes.
For the next time that I do this, I guess I should get the spray gold class leather conditioner instead of the cream.
PEASE HELP, I dont want to continue using a push-pin because it will take me for freakin' ever.
Thanks for the advice in advance.
Stephen
